Are mobile phone network masts with 5G radiation dangerous?

What is the status of the 5G network in Germany?

For the 5G mobile network in Germany, many radio masts have already been converted or retrofitted to the new 5G standard. This allows everyone to personally assess whether their surroundings seem dangerous in terms of 5G radiation.

The aim of 5G is to significantly increase data transmission rates, especially for mobile devices. However, increasing the transmission frequency also reduces the technically possible range with the same transmission power. This is also the reason why a large number of additional dangerous 5G radio masts have to be erected in order to achieve nationwide coverage of this mobile access without “white spots” on the map. Is 5G radiation equally dangerous everywhere?

Clearly no, different frequency ranges are used here due to the different areas of application. The so-called low band (700 Mhz) is used for coverage within a radius of up to 8 km. Data transmission rates of up to 200 Mbit/s are possible here and are mainly used in houses or in rural areas. The mid-band with 1.8 gigahertz has a smaller transmission range of up to approx. 3 km, is primarily intended for comprehensive 5G coverage in cities and achieves data transmission rates of up to 500 Mbit/s. In metropolitan areas with a very high number of users or in industry, the so-called high band with a frequency of 3.5 gigahertz is used. Can dangerous radiation from 5G masts be shielded?

Due to the large coverage and the almost nationwide provision of this radio standard required by politicians, personal escape from this existing radiation source is hardly possible. This can further restrict quality of life, especially for people who are electrosensitive. In principle, it is possible to shield the surrounding walls in personal living areas with various types of metal mesh or protective coatings. However, this should always be carried out by a specialist in order to achieve the best possible results and avoid possible harmful side effects due to improper application. Incorrect application can make this even more dangerous! These options are sometimes controversial, as they also shield against the omnipresent influences of nature. One specific example is the earth’s magnetic field. A permanent withdrawal of these natural energies can have dangerous effects on individual health under certain circumstances.
